Ann Davis first became interested in entrepreneurship when she learned about social entrepreneurship in college and worked with an organization that provided swimming lessons to people in New Orleans shortly after Hurricane Katrina devastated the city. Today, Ann continues her passion for being of service for people in the areas that she visits — and helping other travelers do the same — with her company Venture with Impact, that allows people to travel, live in a different country and to have an organization that they contribute to while they’re there.
On this episode of the Support is Sexy podcast, Anne shares three reasons why working remotely makes sense (and how to convince your employers of the same), plus, how getting diagnosed with brain cancer saved her and how she changed her health habits (and work habits) following that diagnosis.
