Ophira Edut and her identical twin sister, Tali, have been partners in entrepreneurship from a very young age. Since they were seven years old, the two have had a calligraphy business at their elementary school and a paper route in their Detroit neighborhood. They are also proud feminists, who were passionate throughout their teens and twenties about creating work that was inclusive and reflective of diverse experiences, including a magazine called HUES, which they created while in college.
Today, the AstroTwins, as they are lovingly called, reflect those experiences through the lens of astrology. And over the past decade they have become “astrologers to the stars” — doing readings for powerful women like Beyoncé and Emma Roberts — and built a business that includes a website that gets 3.5 million visitors per month, writing the horoscopes for national outlets, such as Elle and Refinery29, and creating charts for top corporate executives
On this episode of the Support is Sexy podcast, Ophira gives us insight about discovering your passion, creating a business that is of service and operating on a generosity model. Plus, how astrology helps us better understand, communicate and connect in our businesses and in our lives.
